UCLA Anderson School of Management Appoints Harry Strulovici, MD, MPH --- Global Health Consultant


UCLA is pleased to announce the appointment of Harry Strulovici, MD, MPH to the position of Global Health Consultant, Harold and Pauline Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, UCLA Anderson School of Management effective April 2014. Dr. Strulovici will focus on increasing access to health services for undeserved children and families emphasizing the use of mobile devices. He will collaborate with the faculty directors and program director of UCLA/Johnson & Johnson.

Dr. Strulovici is the founder and currently a consultant to Life for Mothers, a US based international NGO that is also registered in Uganda and Kenya. For the past 8 years, he has traveled regularly to Sub-Saharan Africa to develop and implement a holistic strategy to reduce maternal mortality using Community Health Workers and Mobile Devices. He has also served as a Yale/Johnson & Johnson Career Fellow in International Health in Uganda during 2007-2008. In this position, he surgically repaired women who suffered with obstetric fistula. He has also been a consultant to the Global Fund, Unicef, and UNFPA.
